UF Research and Education Center

Overview

This 106,000 square foot, 5-story classroom, office, lecture hall and laboratories supports a variety colleges, institues and centers. The project was designed by HOK Architects. It is located in an area termed "medical city" just south of Orlando, Florida.

The oldest and largest public university in the state of Florida open the UF Research and Education Center in November 2012. KENPAT was chosen by KBR as the interior contractor for the following work:
• Light Gauge Metal Framing
• Gypsum Wallboard
• Acoustical Ceilings
• Spray-On Fireproofing
• Wall Insulation and Acoustical Spray-On Insulation

KENPAT self-performed 75% of this scope.
