Evans High School

Overview

Making room for improvements, the outdated Evans High School, originally built in 1958, was totally demolished in 2010. On January 3, 2012 the brand new Evans High School welcomed over 2,000 students. Lead by Williams Company, KENPAT accepted the most aggressive schedule of 16-1/2 months, to build 9 buildings and 340,000 SF of space; the shortest construction schedule ever for a new Orange County high School.

The construction project lead by Williams Company was completed under budget. KENPAT’s contract consisted of the following scope of work:
• Light Gauge Metal Framing
• Gypsum Wallboard
• Acoustical Ceilings
• Specialty Ceilings
• Lath & Plaster
• Wall Insulation

KENPAT self-performed 90% of this scope.
