Voxx International Manufacturing

In January, 2016, VOXX International held the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of its new 115,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing center, which is producing market-leading automotive entertainment systems and products, and serves as the core VOXX Hirschmann North American OEM manufacturing hub. As part of this new facility, VOXX International also relocated its executive headquarters to the new 5,000-square-foot addition to the facility in Orlando..

General Contractor Wieland-Davco was commissioned to build this new facility. In turn, they contracted with KENPAT to provide interior framing, interior wall systems, exterior cladding, and acoustical as well as drywall ceilings. Two factors make this work significant: the size and nature of the work, and the fact that all of this needed to be completed in a 3.5-month time period. In total, approximately 267,000 SF of drywall was installed in that 3.5-month time period. Overall, 68,000 SF of acoustical ceiling tiles were installed in this facility.

KENPAT self-performed 100% of this scope.

KENPAT received an Award of Merit from the Association of Builders and Contractors.
