Overview

KENPAT is proud to present their work for the Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts Steinmetz Hall. This is truly a remarkable project unlike any other. Nothing about this project was standard. It is one of very few theaters that can transform in shape, seating and sound to accommodate a variety of performances and events. Achieving an N1 sound rating −the lowest level at which humans can detect sound - it is one of the world’s most advanced acoustical theaters. KENPAT participated in building the facility by installing acoustical and metal ceiings and wall panels. In the main theater, KENPAT installed a custom metal ceiling along with Oculus sheets and CS-07 concentric rings of panels to enhance the acoustics of this amazing theatre.

Scope of Work

  • • CS-25 custom metal ceilings
  • • CS-21 custom metal ceilings in the women’s restrooms
  • • ACM shaft riser enclosures in the north lounge
  • • Custom metal ceiling at the main theater
  • • Oculus sheets & CS-07 concentric panel rings in main theatre
  • • All acoustical ceiling grid and tile throughout
