Bush Science Center

Overview

The Rollins College Bush Science Center project consisted of the renovation of an existing 85,000 SF science building and construction of a 19,000 SF addition. KENPAT was chosen by Brasfield and Gorrie as the exterior contractor for this project. The project brought together a plan to incorporate the unique exterior stucco and GFRC finishes on both the new and older refurbished walls and making them blend together to provide a seamless, uniform look that is a focal point for the entire campus.

Designed by eYP Architecture & Engineering and led by Brasfield & Gorrie, the state-of-the-art facility is one of the larger buildings on the Rollins College campus. KENPAT was part of the work with the following scope of work:
• Exterior metal framing
• Exterior sheathing
• Exterior stucco
• Exterior GFRC shapes
• Exterior flashing and sealants

KENPAT self-performed 80% of this scope.
